We are watching the fire here at work today. We are out in Warner Center and we face east. It’s just a grim sight but it was what California ecosystems are designed to do, burn… Too bad people like to build high end houses in places where they have no business building.
My car was acting badly right last night so I took the bus this am. NOT doing that again soon. I will wait for the Orange Line to open. I left at 6:40 and got here at 9. I usually get to work at 7am.
We are going up to the Ben Lomond Highland Games this weekend up near Santa Cruz to see Scott and go to the International Clan Gathering for the MacFarlanes. My knee is looking real bad and it’s sore so I’m not looking forward to be cooped in the car but it’s better than flying.

We tried to enter this good establishment but we never made it into safe harbour because I asked how he served his seamen. I just asked if he served them on toast and he turned a rather disturbing shade of crimson most like our no quarter given ensign.

So we adjourned to this good establishment which is probably more suited to out natures.

B’ars in the Hills
Whoooohoooo! I found a Bear at lunch in a cute little red car.( He was pretty cute too for a guy). He said he went to MCC LA. Thar’s b’ars in Woodland Hills at Lunch time!
I didn’t make it to ritual and I’m bummed. Evidently my car was more injured than I thought in accident I had last week and it’s has decided to leak coolant at a great rate so I was afraid to drive to Pasadena because I was afraid I wouldn’t get home. Sigh!
Tomorrow is the Pirate Faire in Ojai and we are going to that with our friend Mary but my sister is driving the truck.
Shameless plug: Please watch Ghost Whisperer. Mary is the Set Director and it is good to have a job and feel safe on occasion. Plus she bought a lot og the decorations at our Long Beach Womenspirit Faire in June which helped a lot of outher women out. It’s tonght on CBS.

I have our monthly Finance climb down OSP’s throat over non essentials meeting in 15 minutes and I’m looking forward for 2 things. to go to the Bean and getting and Pure Chocolate Ice blended because it’s over and ritual tonight. We’ve been told to bring a bag of nuts. Okay now I’m curious. What’s up with the nuts.
