  1. We’re lucky where we are, we’ve got a street with a ‘hump’ in it due to the vicinity of the fault line and movement pushing up a section of road. The council at least had the sense to notify the work was being done and swiftly got told not to touch it. Plus the residents seemed to be quite fond of the hump too. They might not have known this, but they take school students through there to look at features just like this and they are important for measuring what is going on.
