  1. Not only in the US, unfortunately. All the comments on hair-do and clothing of our chancellor drives me nuts. Think of her politics whatever you want but do NOT tell me it has something to do with what she wears *grmpft*

  2. I wouldn’t care if the next PM or POTUS wore Spandex with an off the shoulder satin bolero jacket and a pair of Doc Martens ( whatever gender).
I don’t care what colour, religion (or not), marital status or consenting sexual partner they have. I want someone who governs, but not rules. Who listens to all arguments and then makes a decision. No macho ‘my arms race is faster than your arms race – lets ‘duke it out’ politics. No sound bites, rhetoric or worn out overused phrases.
Someone who gets the job on merit and experience and not whose campaign fund bank balance is the biggest. Someone who wants to do things to improve life for the 99%, not just the 1%.
Abraham Lincoln would not be able to stand as a Presidential candidate in today’s politics.
The same elite families put there candidates forward so what you really have is Rotational Royalty most of the time.
