It is the odd melding of science and religion that creates fundamentalism — the belief that the Bible is ultimately both a scientific and religious text.” Yes. This. That whole paragraph. Weird, bizarre, wacky, twisted. Completely blew my mind when I realized it. It’s like that species of living blob that lives in the sewer… I vacillate between “Wow! That is totally fascinating!” and “Eewwww!”
