What is the working title of your book?

Leonard – a boy and his wand Book 1, The Adventures of the Littlest Druid, Things to do with the Littlest Pagans and I’m still writing more BunniHoTep Tales.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

Leonard and the Littlest Druid are two that introduced themselves in my sleep and the other is just something I feel like doing from all my camp experience

What genre will your book be?

Pagan children’s fiction, bedtime stories, nature activities

Which actors would you choose to play in a movie rendition?

The Littlest Druid could be animated but she might come off looking like the main character in Brave even though Aisling has been around longer. Leonard, Melly and Greg? no clue.

What is a one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Leonard – It’s the story of how a boy discovers he has a magical family and how his magic lessons from his deceased grandmother.

The Littlest Druid – these are the adventures of a young Druidry apprentice in ancient Ireland, she means well things just don’t always go as planned.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

Probably self-publish both on Kindle and on createspace like The Tales of BunniHoTep and the Heart Town Witch and other stories. When I had an agent they did bupkus.

How long did it take to write the first draft of your manuscript? Leonard and the Littlest Druid progress when they tell me more so they have been in the process for a few years.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

There isn’t anything like the Littlest Druid that I know of and Leonard is just Leonard, a California kid. One reviewer called my stories Tim Burtonesquw but I have no clue what that means. I don’t think I write anything like a Tim Burton movie.

Who or what inspired you to write this book?

I write because my characters bother me until I do. Not sure inspiration is the correct word. More like cattle prod or goad.

What else about your book might pique the readers’ interest?

Well, if they want to have some fun they can join me in one of my worlds. New readers and inhabitants are always welcome.

My nominees: Of course, participation is down to personal choice, but it is a lot of fun.
