I’m such a geek!
Help! When did I become the A.V. Guy?
Some how in every job I’ve ever had I become the person behind the technology used for presentations. When I was in High School the most despised, reviled and picked on, people in the whole school were the A.V. guys. The guys that wore white shirts and dirty shoes and glasses with tape holding them together.
But from the moment I started to work for the Girl Scouts I had to learn to run and fix the movie projector. Now I’m the queen of PowerPoint for the configuration dept of the insurance company I work for and running the projector and the computer so it works. How did this happen? And what’s more frightening, I love it! Arghhhh!
I’m such a geek.
I laugh in the face of danger!
We got this email this am:
I echoe Diana’s comments. After much discussion, we all realize that there is so much that we don’t understand about other heritages/cultures, which is why it is even more important for you to reconsider your decision to submit an exhibit. You and Glenn represent part of the rich diversity of Health Net, and your exhibits will open minds and stimulate important discussions. I hope that you will seriously consider submitting.

Okay, we’re going to the Seaside Highland Games on Saturday. Whooohoo. Hopefully it won’t rain. I wanted to take the train but Ali said no. The station is in the parking lot of the Ventura Fair Grounds. Maybe next year.
Okay, I’m a bit spooked was looking in the mirror while washing my hands in the bathroom and didn’t see me, saw my grandmother. Hmmmm!
