I know when we were out at the Wildlife Refuge on Christmas we couldn’t figure out why most of the vegetation had been removed. Now I know. I just went to the Army Corps of Engineers website and left a nasty note on exactly what I thought about their imbecilic and illegal action in the refuge. I hope they all reincarnate in a wildlife refuge they have done this to.
It may be part of the flood control basin but that section is dedicated to the preservation of wildlife and what they did explains why not a rabbit was in sight. They probably died from whatever herbicide those assholes applied.
There is no hell deep enough or horrible enough for the desolation they have wrought. The Audubon Society and the Sierra Club and others have spent a lot of time planting and picking up trash. Something the Army Corps of Engineers did not do on their Sherman like march through the Refuge. May they all have children that get taken there on school or group field trips and have them come home and their parent has to explain all their bad acts.
I was so distracted from the beauty of the birds Christmas that I didn’t process just how much had been removed. And not just with machinery that would have scared the wildlife but to apply herbicide that will get into the lake and kill the fish? Good going US government. Your deficit dollars at work and totally unnecessary. They can just all go straight to every bad place any religion they practice has.
That is so horrible. I am so sorry… not only for you, but especially for the beings who have just experienced the un-natural disaster of human stupidity. I have seen this behavior before, and I have no explanation for it other that some guys with big Tonka toys need to feel powerful. Again, I am so sorry.
